Based in Huntsville, Texas, Sam Houston State University is one of the largest public universities in the state. With a long, rich history as one of the oldest universities in Texas, SHSU upholds a tradition of excellence in academics and student success. The university serves over 20,000 students, both on–campus and online.
SHSU’s online offerings continue to grow. Currently, students can pursue one doctoral program, 25 graduate programs, and five undergraduate programs completely online through the university’s Blackboard learning system. DePaul offers over 300 undergraduate and graduate programs, many available entirely online. Originally founded in 1971 by the New York State Board of Regents, Excelsior College has become one of the foremost providers of online education for distance learners. Their mission emphasizes providing higher education for working adults, particularly for demographics often underrepresented in postsecondary programs. Excelsior’s enrollment stands at over 32,000 students, with the average student age of 36 and 74% of students working full time. Since 1922, Walsh College has been a leader in business education, emphasizing skills and programs that employ practical experience with business theory. Walsh has four physical campuses around Michigan that include Troy, Novi, Clinton Township, and Port Huron, in addition to offering programs online.
