Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), a private doctoral university established in 1829, consists of nine colleges, including the National Technical Institute for the Deaf. Known for its computing, engineering, fine arts and imaging science programs, RIT offers rigorous and career-focused programs. With its main campus in Rochester, NY, as well as campuses in Croatia, Kosovo, Dubai and China, RIT provides its students with a world-class, innovative education. RIT has nearly 40 years of experience in distance learning and allows students to earn more than 30 undergraduate and graduate degrees fully online. The same faculty teach RIT’s online and on-campus courses, so students receive the same education but in a flexible, asynchronous format.
