Offering a number of vocational degrees at the associate, undergraduate, and certificate levels, students of NHCC are committed to strengthening their faith concurrently with earning a higher education.

Online degree options at NHCC include a bachelor of science in ministry leadership and a bachelor of science in the creative arts. Established in 1966, LBCC's main campus is located in Linn County, with additional campuses in Albany, Corvallis, and the Sweet Home Center. This community college offers more than 80 two-year degrees and certification opportunities to students online, on-campus, and through hybrid programs of the two.

Located in Portland, Oregon, this public community college is the largest institution in the state, serving more than 1.9 million students in Multnomah, Yamhill, Clackamas, Columbia, and Washington counties. The campus is 256 acres across and is home to 83,000 students attending classes on campus. Founded in 1961, this school offers online and on-campus degrees in a large variety of fields.

Students attending PCC's online school can earn a degree in business administration, computer information systems, gerontology, health information management, management/supervisory development, and computer applications completely at a distance. Online students are not required to spend any time on campus but for initial placement testing and potential lab time. In-person lab time is not required in all programs. Distance learners have the option to hybridize their degree program and complete some classes in person.

Online classes offered at PCC follow the same curriculum as the school's on-campus courses and in many cases are taught by the same professors. All course materials are available online 24/7 and students are able to complete most coursework asynchronously, though some teachers require students to login or submit assignments at particular times. PCC partners with several Oregon four-year schools to simplify the task of transferring credits into a bachelor's program.

Distance learners applying to PCC from out of state should ensure the school has the appropriate educational licensing for recognition in his or her own state. Currently, only students residing in the Northern Mariana Islands are unable to attend classes at PCC.

Umpqua Community College

Bordering the North Umpqua River, UCC is located six miles from Roseburg and serves students of Douglas County and the Oregon coast. With a campus consisting of 16 buildings, UCC offers associate degrees and certificate programs to almost 2,500 students each year. Students can earn a fully online associate degree in general studies, business assistantship, marketing, medical office administration, or paralegal studies. Online learners can earn a certificate in entrepreneurship, financial services, medical billing, and retail management. Most online programs at UCC can be taken asynchronously, but some programs require students to participate in classroom activities and discussions with fellow classmates.

UCC offers a specific associate of arts transfer degree for students planning to transfer into a four-year institution in the state of Oregon. Known as a "block transfer," this program allows students to enter a four-year school as a junior. UCC partners with several Oregon institutions of higher education, so students with an associate degree from this school is eligible to transfer into a baccalaureate program, but the AA/OT program is intended to streamline the transfer process.

Distance programs at UCC follow the on-campus curriculum. UCC's online school accepts students from Oregon and all over the country. Students outside of Oregon, should make sure that UCC's educational standards are in line with their state's educational regulations.
