Green Mountain College offers two bachelor's degrees online: a bachelor of science in business administration, and a bachelor of arts in interdisciplinary studies. Of the 120 credits required to graduate, at least 30 must be completed at GMU. To enroll, applicants must have earned at least 12 credits at a higher education institution with an overall GPA of 2.5 or better. GMU also offers four master's degrees online, which require an annual residency lasting three to four days at the GMU campus in Poultney, Vermont.
Each three-credit course at GMU lasts six weeks. Students enroll in one course at a time, and can complete up to eight courses in an academic year. The tuition cost per credit for courses in GMU's online degree completion program and graduate program is the same regardless of where students reside. The online per-credit rate is significantly lower than the rate for on-campus classes, making it one of the most affordable online colleges in Vermont.
