Educational resources may take several forms. Here, we focus on valuable primary sources from different periods of history.

For those who may not know yet, a "primary source" is a text written by an individual who is the primary object of your study, as opposed to a "secondary source," which is a text written by another individual (often living later in time) in order to explain or comment on the primary source.

For example, you could use our resources section to locate the actual text of the Declaration of Independence, as written by Thomas Jefferson, with input from Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, and others. You would not use this section to locate a contemporary discussion of the historical importance of Jefferson or the Declaration.

Our goal in this department is to provide you with a variety of resources that you will find helpful as research tools, both in your college coursework and in your own personal exploration of the wide world of learning.

Take the next step towards your future with online learning.
