Valley City State University (VCSU), a public, land-grant university established in 1890, offers more than 80 undergraduate degree programs in business, art, computer systems, and more, as well as an online master’s degree in education. Part of the North Dakota University System, VCSU enrolls about 1,300 students.
In addition to the master’s degree, online students also can complete eight undergraduate majors, ranging from business education to music to professional communication.
VCSU also offers eight online minors and certificate programs.
The university does not offer programs to Iowa residents.
The university’s online students have access to counseling services, library resources, and technical support.
Valley City State University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The university also received accreditation from the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education.
