Overview
The University of Wyoming (UW) continues to live up to its 1914 commitment of providing quality education beyond the geographic confines of Laramie. UW is scenically located between the Snowy Range and Laramie Mountains at an elevation of 7,220 feet. The university has an additional campus located in Casper and six regional centers.
UW’s distance education program runs the gamut of offerings including certificates, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. UW delivers approximately 90 graduate degree programs in addition to its 80 undergraduate programs across seven colleges, which cover subject areas including agriculture and natural resources, arts and sciences, business, and engineering and applied science.

UW requires official high school transcripts, submitted directly from the school, for undergraduate applicants. The university admits students with an ACT score of 21 or an SAT score of 1060and charges a one–time $40 application fee, which cannot be refunded.
