The University of Central Missouri (UCM), a public university founded in 1871, enrolls about 14,000 students from around the world. The university offers 150 programs of study leading to a host of undergraduate, graduate, educational specialist, cooperative doctorate degrees and certificates.
Through UCMOnline, the University of Central Missouri allows students to earn a handful of online bachelor’s degrees, including those in criminal justice, general studies, occupational education and nursing, as well as more than a dozen graduate degrees in educational technology, aviation safety, kinesiology and more.
Online students can pursue educational specialist degrees.
Online courses follow an eight-week or sixteen-week schedule without specific face-to-face meeting times.
Some of UCMOnline’s programs require on-campus visits.
Students have access to services, such as an online orientation and financial aid.
University of Central Missouri is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCACS), while several of its programs also hold specialized accreditations, including from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) and the Council on Social Work Education.
