The University of Arkansas (UARK), public, space-grant, land-grant, co-educational university offers more than 188 undergraduate, graduate and professional programs. The flagship of the University of Arkansas System, UARK has offered high-quality education since its founding in 1871. Founded in 1969, its Global Campus works with units across the Fayetteville campus, other institutions, and business and industry leaders to provide students with a range of educational opportunities. More than 3,000 students study exclusively online and receive the same quality education as their on-campus counterparts. UARK Global Campus offers more than 600 online courses and allows students to complete a range of programs with the flexibility needed to balance family, work and school.
