Ohio Online maintains several enrollment periods throughout the academic year. While early action applications must be returned by November 15, rolling admission deadlines provide applicants with additional opportunities. Individuals enrolling as freshmen must possess a high school diploma or GED. Freshman applicants must submit official high school transcripts, SAT or ACT scores, and a completed application.

Prospective students who have completed more than nine semester hours or 12 quarter hours at a regionally accredited institution may apply as transfer students. Transfer applicants should possess a 2.0 minimum GPA in previous coursework and submit official college transcripts. Some programs may uphold additional admission guidelines, and students should carefully research program requirements or speak with an advisor before applying.

Ohio Online offers five associate degrees with a variety of available concentrations, including applied science in equine studies, arts and humanities, social sciences, individualized studies, business management technology, and science.
