Dickinson State University (DSU), a public university founded in 1918, enrolls about 1,300 students. A member of the North Dakota University System, the university offers more than 175 programs of study through 10 academic departments—leading to a variety of associate degrees and bachelor’s degrees.
Through DSU Online, Dickinson State University allows students to earn online undergraduate degrees in accounting, finance, agriculture sales/service equine training, business administration and more, as well as a certificate in human resource management.
The university’s online courses follow the regular semester schedule. Most courses feature an asynchronous format, but some may contain synchronous elements.
Online students have access to services such as tutoring, academic advising and tech support.
All DSU students must complete an exit exam.
The university offers online programs to students across the country, except for residents of Delaware, District of Columbia, Massachusetts and New Jersey.
Dickinson State University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Several of the university’s programs also hold specialized accredittions.
